Minamata Disease
Minamata disease is neurological syndrome caused by severe mercury poisoning. The sample at the top is from a seven-year-old girl who died after four years of mercury poisoning, and the sample in the middle is from an eight-year-old girl who died after 2 years and 9 months of poisoning. At the bottom is the normal brain of a thirty-year-old man who did not have Minamata Disease
