Hey Diddle Diddle (also Hi Diddle Diddle, The Cat and the Fiddle, or The Cow Jumped Over the Moon) is an English nursery rhyme. Hey Diddle Diddle, The cat and the fiddle, The cow jumped over the moon; The little dog laughed, To see such fun, And the dish ran after the spoon. Denslow's Mother Goose: being the old familiar rhymes and jingles of Mother Goose. The figure of Mother Goose is the imaginary author of a collection of fairy tales and nursery rhymes. William Wallace Denslow (May 5, 1856 - March 29, 1915) was an American illustrator and caricaturist remembered for his work in collaboration with author L. Frank Baum, especially his illustrations of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Frederic W. Goudy (March 8, 1865 - May 11, 1947 in Marlborough-on-Hudson) was an American printer, artist and type designer whose typefaces include Copperplate Gothic, Goudy Old Style and Kennerley.
