NASA's Psyche spacecraft on SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket at Kennedy Space Center's historic Launch Complex 39A in Florida on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. The mission will explore a metal-rich asteroid with the hope of learning more about the Earth's own metal core and how the solar system was formed. Psyche will also carry out NASA's Deep Space Optical Communications (DSOC) experiment - that will test new ways of communicating through space
