Rusalka, Legendary Creature
In Slavic mythology, a rusalka is a female ghost, water nymph, succubus, or mermaid-like demon that dwelt in a waterway. They would mesmerize men with songs and dancing, then lead them to the river floor to their death. Engraving by Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibin, 1899
