Stereoscope, 1865
Stereoscope (reversible in box), c. 1865 or later. A stereoscope is a device for viewing a stereoscopic pair of separate images, depicting left-eye and right-eye views of the same scene, as a single three-dimensional image. The earliest type of stereoscope was invented by Sir Charles Wheatstone in 1838
