Ulisse Aldrovandi, Italian Polymath
Ulisse Aldrovandi (September 11, 1522 - May 4, 1605) was an Italian naturalist and physician. Aldrovandi studied humanities, law, medicine and was also interested in philosophy and logic, botany, zoology, and geology. In 1574, he wrote Antidotarii Bononiensis Epitome, describing the properties and constituents of drugs
