Walter Gilbert, American Biochemist

Walter Gilbert (born 1932) is an American physicist, biochemist, molecular biology pioneer, and Nobel laureate. Gilbert was awarded the 1980 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, shared with Frederick Sanger and Paul Berg.
