William Butler Yeats, Irish Poet
William Butler Yeats (June 13, 1865 - January 28 1939) was an Irish poet. He was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival and helped found the Abbey Theatre, where he served as its chief during its early years. He was the first Irishman awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature
