Willis Carrier
Willis Carrier with his air conditioner. Carrier (1876-1950) invented the air conditioner and patented it in 1902. He studied mechanical engineering at Cornell and in 1915 founded the Carrier Engineering Corporation, which remains the major producer of cooling equipment today
