: Head and shoulders of Goering's wife Emmy Sonnemann

Head and shoulders of Goering's wife Emmy Sonnemann

On 10 April 1935, Reich Marshal Hermann Goering married for the second time (his first wife, Karin, having died of tuberculosis in 1931). His bride was a blonde, ideal Aryan-type actress, called Emmy Sonnemann. The wedding in the Evangelical Cathedral, Berlin, was a splendid affair, the gifts worthy of a royal wedding, the guests led by ihe Fuhrer, the ceremony performed by a bishop and a commentary of it relayed on the radio
