Royal Norfolk Regiment Memorial, Bieville-Berville
The Norfolks were part of the 59th (Staffordshire) Division, a follow-up force that landed on 25 June and was heavily involved in the fighting for Caen - it vies with the 3rd Canadian Divison for the title of the first divison to enter Caen'. This Memorial carries the names of 116 men who lost their lives in the landings
