Nov. 11, 1958 - 11-11-59 Which mother for Susan. Adoption battle continues Mr. and Mrs. Cherry of Kentish Town, yesterday traveled 400 miles to Glasgow with two year old Susan. They met Mrs. Helen Kane, Susan mother who has not seen the child since she was seven months, during which time the Cherrys have cared for the child in the belief that they would be allowed to adopt her. Now Mrs. Kane says she wants to emigrate and intends to take Susan with her. The two families failed to come to an agreement. Keystone Photo Shows: The talks are over, Mrs. Cherry leaves with Susan.
