Nov. 11, 1959 - Richard Kubaszewski displaced person attends luxury luncheon at Savoy hotel: Little Richard Kubaszewski aged 10 was a last minute guests this afternoon at the Men of Distinction Luncheon organised by Lord Denham in aid of the Adoption Committee for Aid of Displaced persons. Richard comes from the Displaced Persons Camp in Bavaria from where he was flown today to make a silent appeal for help for the 1, 000 DP families in Western Germany. Richard is now to live with a family in Bromley. Photo shows Richard Kubazewski is introduced to the Duke of Gloucester by Mrs. Francoise Rigby the Belgian war resistance heroine who suffered much at the hands of the Gestapo and who has done great work for displaced persons at the luncheon this afternoon
