Dec. 12, 1962 - A Very Happy Christmas for Beautiful Goddess'.. Child From the Gutters of Hong Kong.. Nine babies arrived in London last night from the Crown Colony of Hong Kong.. They were bought here by the International Social Service - for adoption here by British couples. They had been rescued from the gutters and streets of Hong Kong - having been abandoned by their parents.. Most of them will be re-christened - to enable them to fit in more easily with British families.. Mr. Emmerson (who is a BEA Comet Pilot) and his wife have adopted the child
