Photographer Robin Dale was born in Stockton-on-Tees in north-east England in 1940. Many of his images show people going about their daily lives in Teesside, and capture moments of joy, contemplation and solitude, not to mention some fantastic fashion. His industrial landscapes often reflect the harshness of the economic conditions of the time as well as revealing unexpected beauty.
