The David Pearson Collection

Victorian and Edwardian greetings cards with a particularly eye-bogglingly varied array of historic Christmas and New Year cards which has also extended to Easter, Valentines and various unusual bits and pieces of ephemera such as scraps and bills. Pharcide Postcard Collection

The Pharcide collection is a cornucopia of wonders consisting mainly of photographic postcards of people, places and scenes worldwide from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries, and is particularly strong on the USA, Canada, Britain and Australia. You want to see the 1950 coffee club carriage on the Wabash Blue Bird train from St Louis to Chicago? Or what smart people were wearing for a visit to the Spanish bullring in 1910? Pharcide can help.

Photo Union Collection

In 1946, photographer Jean Straker formed a short-lived photographic firm known as Photo Union at 12, Soho Square in London. It specialised in the photo-essay, a form of pictorial journalism undertaken mainly with miniature cameras. The agency only lasted for four years, and the archive that remains consequently documents only a brief period of time, but in many ways, is all the more fascinating for it.

Pump Park Photography

Pump Park specialises in nineteenth century travel photographs from around the world, with an emphasis on prints from Asia; in particular India, Japan and China. It's a fascinating survey of the scenery and traditions of other lands at a time when public curiosity about overseas culture was at its height, as was an appetite to see and own photographs of exotic places.
