Stanley Street Arch Preston Guild 1922
Stanley Street Triumphal Arch made from cotton bales by Horrockses and Co during Preston Guild 1922. The Horrockses cotton logo can be seen in the centre of the arch. Large flags including Union Jack flag are placed on the top of the arch. The street with houses or shop fronts to the left is visible. There is a covered seating area in the background which served as a viewing platform during the Guild processions. Tramlines run up the middle of the street. A number of pedestrians can be seen
