1st Special Service Brigade Memorial, le Plain
The Brigade comprised Numbers 4, 5, 6 Commando, 45 Royal Marine Commando and No 10 Inter Allied Commando. They are all commemorated on a plaque at the bottom of the cross. The area is known as Place du Commandant Kieffer who was the OC of No 10 Commando. The action here is described on plaques placed on each side of the Memorial
