41 Royal Marine Cdo Memorial Plaque, Lion-sur-Mer
This simple Memorial Plaque is in the small square near the Mairie of Lion-sur-Mer. The town was not liberated on D-Day and required a combined assault by the 5th Lincolns and the Royal Ulster Rifles on 7 June before it was cleared
