Airstrip B3 Memorial area, Ste Croix sur Mer, Normandy
This was the first British landing strip to became operational - on 10 June 1944. The first Squadrons to land here were 130 and 133 at 1200 on the 10th. Memorials here include those to 146 Typhoon Wing, Nos 441, 442 and 443 Sqns RCAF and 340 and 341 French Sqns
