Black Propaganda quote from Rear-Admiral Lutzow
Lutzow's main claim to fame was in the pocket battlegship which bore his name. Launched in 1931 as the Deutschland, with the claim that she could outrun any ship she could not outgun, Hitler rechristened her Lutzow'in 1940. He feared the adverse propaganda effect should a ship called Deutschland be lost, The Lutzow survived a variety of encounters, finally to be scuttled in May 1945. Probably produced in Portugal
