General Patton's HQ with Sherman tank Nehou Normandy

Patton had his Command Post here from 6 July to 2 August 1944. The memorial area was initially set up by the State of Connecticut and M Jean Baptiste Tyson founder of the Association du General Patton. The tank, Lucky Forward was acquired from the Saumur Armoured Vehicles Museum
