: Goebbels walking by a plane named Hermann Goering

Goebbels walking by a plane named Hermann Goering

Hitler and his immediate entourage made great use of the aeroplane for travelling around the country. This grassy airfield is in Konigsberg, the capital of East Prussia, and Goebbels is carrying a bunch of flowers. The occasion may, therefore, have been a visit by the Propaganda Minister to speak to the local party faithful, whose leaders turned out to welcome him with flowers. In the background is one of Hermann Goering's own aircraft
