Head of Duc of Aosta seen over advancing armed soldiers
Amadeo Filiberto made a herioc last stand against British Forces in Amba Alagi (now in Ethiopia) East Africa.. His eventual surrender was to save further useless loss of life and the British accorded him The Honours of War for his gallantry. He died in British captivity in Nairobi in 1942
