Hell on Wheels US 2nd Armoured Division
The Division landed on Omaha Beach on 9 June 1944 and went into action on the 11th. It earned its nickname in the fighting for Carentan and went on to become the first American Division to enter Berlin. The plaque is on the wall of the Belhambra Club on Omaha
