The Fuhrer is inspecting a parade of the Arbeitsdienst, the German Labour Corps, a State-organised force which was created by the Nazis to alleviate the massive unemployment prevalent during the Weimar regime. Experience gained in the formation, and use of the Corps, proved a great value when Hitler later mobilised the whole nation for war
