Hitler marching with Goering and others in uniform
In the entre of the marching column are Goering and Hitler. The date is 9 November 1933, just 9 Months after Hitlers appointment as Chancellor. The place is Munich. When those two men had marched together in that same city in 1923, ten years earlier to the day, they had been fired upon by the police. Goering had been wounded and had fled to Austria. Hitler was captured, tried and imprisoned. Now they were effectively the two most powerful men in Germany. It must have been an intoxicating experience for them
