Horse drawn supply wagon of the Army Service Corps
The fighting soldier has to be supported by many other back room soldiers. How many depends upon the campaign but estimates vary from 2 to 20. These soldiers form the Supply Column which would be composed of wagons like the one seen here. Boer War
