Memorials to Flail tanks of 22nd Dragoons on D Day
Flail tanks were Sherman tanks equipped at the frontwith rotating rollers with long chains attached whosepurpose was to clear exits from the beaches by exploding mines. The 22nd landed on both Sword and Juno beaches and has a number of memorials. This oneis at Cresserons
