Newspaper building on fire Berlin 1919
During the January 1919 Spartakist uprising, the Berliner Tageblatts (Berlin Daily News) newspaper building was taken over by the revolutionaries and bombarded by guns manned by the army. The latter was assisted by elements of the right-wing Freikorps, who greatly outnumbered them.
