Young uniformed German boy blowing revielle in tented area
Hitler believed that the future of Germany lay with its young people and therefore they must be taught the Nazi philosophy. Boys, like this one, between ten and fourteen, were enrolled in the Jungvolk (Young People) organisation which prepared them for entry into the Hitler Youth. On graduating from the Jungvolk, each boy was given a dagger upon which was engraved Blood and Honour'. The card was produced for the 1937 Nuremberg rally
