Young uniformed German veteran of the Russian front
This young soldier is in the 137th Infantry Division, whit was formed in October 1940. It saw heavy action on Russian Front in August 1941 and was also in the Kursk offensive in the summer of 1943. His name is John Ruoli. The photograph was taken to celebrate his joining the army
