Franz Clemens Honoratus Hermann Brentano

Franz Clemens Honoratus Hermann Brentano, German philosopher and psychologist who influenced the work of Sigmund Freud, Rudolf Steiner and others. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1864, but later gave up his priesthood, unable to believe in papal infallibility. He taught at the Universities of Wurtzburg and Vienna
