Satirical cartoon, The Congress dissolved before the Cake was cut up. The Congress of Vienna - the Powers of Europe are dining on a Twelfth Cake, a map of the various disputed territories (Saxony, Flanders, etc). The Congress is interrupted by the return of Napoleon who bursts into the room brandishing a sabre. The crowned heads of state (Russia, Prussia etc), the Pope and stereotypes (the Dutchman) are startled and alarmed. Napoleon tramples various documents, Decrees of the Congress, the deliverance of Europe and the security of Europe'. The only unalarmed figure is the Duke of Wellington who stands about to draw his sword
