Satirical cartoon, Ananias and Clavira - or Judgment against Lying. Mrs Clarke stands at the bar of the House of Commons and denounces General Clavering. Clavering is aghast. Behind him a gaoler mutters: "Aha what another customer". Clavering's evidence was discredited, he was found guilty of lying and sent to Newgate Prison. The other officer is Captain Sandon who was also found guilty
