Satirical cartoon, The Bone of Contention or the English Bull Dog and the Corsican Monkey. An English bulldog and a Corsican monkey (Napoleon) stand on a map of England and France. The dog has a bone (of contention) in its mouth labelled Malta'. The Channel and North Sea are full of invasion craft.
