Satirical cartoon, Oh! Che Boccone! The Prince of Wales stands with his back to the bridal bed clearly in a state of nerves. The Princess lies waiting in bed. The marriage between the Prince and Princess took place on 8 April 1795 and this print imagines the stage just before consummation. In the background is a not too subtle picture of Leda and the Swan. Some of the objects are innuendos, particularly the two pots and the bottle on the table. Boccone can be translated as mouthful
