Satirical cartoon, Royal Recreation. A horrific image, with Empress Catherine II of Russia, seated on a throne, receiving decapitated heads from an officer, identified as General Suvorov. In November 1794 the Polish capital of Warsaw was besieged and captured by the Russians. This print is in response to a terrible massacre that followed in Praga, a suburb of the city
