Satirical cartoon, The Struggle, for a Bengal Butcher and an Imp-Pie. A print about the impeachment of Warren Hastings. A tug-of-war is taking place, with Hastings in a jewelled turban and a large pie (Sir Elijah Impey) in the middle. Hastings, as the Bengal Butcher, holds a bloody knife. The rope is pulled from one side by Sir Gilbert Elliot, who was entrusted with the case, and on the other by Thurlow and a winged demon. Thurlow was accused of protecting Hastings
