NSG Kraft durch Freude Jahresprogramm 1936, annual catalog by the KDF (Kraft Burch Freude - Strength Through Joy) on their journeys, cruises and day trips for workers of the western district of Saar-Pfalz (where the largest circulation regional NS newspaper NSZ Rheinfront originates from), 48 illustrated pages plus a lose blank holiday application form. NSG, was short for Nationalsozialistische Gemeinschaft (National Socialist Community), which was in turn a sub-organisation within the Strength Through Joy (Kraft Burch Freude, or KdF) program. KdF was itself part of the German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront). The KdF, and therefore NSG, aimed to provide leisure activities and benefits to German workers, aiming to promote national unity and solidify support for the Nazi regime
