Published by the German propaganda magazine Signal for French readers, featuring photographs of civilian casualties, bomb damage, rescue operations and funerals. Includes reference to Philippe Henriot, Vichy France's Secretary of State for Information and Propaganda, who was assassinated by the French Resistance later in 1944. A rare wartime propaganda publication illustrating German efforts to exploit Allied bombing raids for political purposes
