Skorpion: Propagaanda leaflet - Side 2

Reverse of the first Skorpion field propaganda leaflet, probably issued in autumn 1944. Continuing its discussion of Germany's military situation, the text urges soldiers not to lose confidence despite mounting setbacks, arguing that Allied superiority should not be regarded as decisive and emphasising the importance of perseverance. The leaflet concludes by inviting troops to submit questions via Feldpost to the Skorpion editorial office, promising frank answers to issues of concern and claiming that 'Skorpion' would always provide 'die ungeschminkte Wahrheit' ('the unvarnished truth'). This invitation to correspond directly with the publication illustrates an unusual attempt to build trust with soldiers by presenting Skorpion as a reliable source of information during the final phase of the war
