Arbeitertum (The Workers, or Working Class), No 36, 1941, 10 Jahrgang (10th Year of publication). Arbeitertum was a bi-monthly NSBO magazine (later DAF) on the theoretical and practical work carried out by the National Socialist factory cell organisation and was an official organ of the German Labour Front (DAF), including the NS community KDF (Kraft Dutch Freude - Strength Through Joy). The Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorgisation or NSBO, was a workers organisation in Nazi Germany with its origins in 1927 when some NSDAP workers in large factories, located mainly in the Berlin area, joined together as an alternative to the social democrats and Christian labour unions. The NSBO was established in 1928 by the members of these NS groups. Arbeitertum was published from 1932 through to early 1945. Staeger vividly portrays the connection between the homeland, which is working with the greatest effort, and the front.
