EXTRA-POST - German Troop Propaganda Sheet, 6 April 1945. Extremely rare late-war German propaganda news sheet issued under the title EXTRA-POST: Das Neueste fur die Truppe ('The Latest News for the Troops'), dated 6 April 1945. Produced during the final weeks of the Second World War, the publication reports claimed German military successes on the Eastern and Western Fronts while emphasising alleged divisions between the Western Allies and the Soviet Union. Articles warn of the consequences of Allied occupation and urge continued resistance despite Germany's deteriorating military position. Published as the Ruhr Pocket was collapsing and only weeks before Germany's surrender, the leaflet is a striking example of the final phase of Third Reich propaganda.
