Flammenzeichen ('Flame Sign'), rare volkisch weekly newspaper published in Stuttgart, November 1936. The front page features the headline Das Volksempfinden uber Rasseschander ('Popular Feeling Regarding Race Defilers'), accompanied by an illustration invoking historical punishment as a commentary on contemporary racial legislation. Published as an 'independent weekly', Flammenzeichen combined nationalist, antisemitic and anti-Catholic themes with political commentary and cultural criticism. Interior articles include Das ist der 'Dank' des Juden ('This is the Jew's 'Thanks'), Blut und Geld im Judentum ('Blood and Money in Jewry'), and discussions of Bolshevism, reflecting key ideological themes of National Socialist propaganda during the mid-1930s.
