German Army Calendar, 1942
Kohlers Heeres-Kalender 1942 - Deutschland in Waffen (Army calendar 1942 - Germany in Weapons). A 224 page yearbook. The calendar section is just a short part at the front with the bulk of the book-style calendar being taken up with reviews of the campaigns, battles and military developments in the Balkans, Africa and Russia during 1941. It also contains a fairly comprehensive report on the Waffen-SS actions in Greece. In addition it introduces all of the Wehrrmacht medals and shield awards. Kohlers Heeres-Kalender was published from 1936 to 1943. This is one of the final two with the last one published in 1943. The first six calendars (1936-1941) always had an identical cover image
