Nationalsozialistische Landpost
Nationalsozialistische Landpost, Sunday issue of the official newspaper of the Reich Food Estate (Reichsnahrstand) and the NSDAP Office for Agricultural Policy, published in Berlin, 5 August 1934. The front page features Gauleiter Wilhelm Kube of Brandenburg alongside an article promoting the National Socialist concept of a 'new peasantry' in the Kurmark region. Published shortly after the death of President Paul von Hindenburg, the issue reflects the regime's emphasis on rural renewal, agricultural policy and the ideological doctrine of Blut und Boden ('Blood and Soil'). Interior articles and photographs cover traditional peasant costumes, farm settlements, rural communities and agricultural development, illustrating how National Socialist propaganda sought to link farming, folk culture and national identity. Germany, 1934
